Eagan Women of Note

Thanks to your generousity we were able to donate 132 pounds of food to the Eagan 150th Anniversary food drive!

The Eagan Women of Note are a community women's choir based in Eagan, Minnesota.  Though we are based in Eagan, our group includes members from throughout the Twin Cities metro area.  We are a quality women’s chorus, dedicated to sharing our love of song with the community.  We are a diverse group of women—married, single, moms, students, business people, retirees—who share a love of music.  Our repertoire includes a wide variety of music from folk music, sacred, spirituals, show tunes, jazz, and madrigal to contemporary favorites.

We perform in many venues, both indoors and outdoors.  We have performed for community activities including those at Holtz Farm in Eagan, the Dakota Historical Village, the Eagan Community Center Bandshell, and the Eagan Arts Festival.  We have performed at Tea’s and Parties for church groups, services at the Fort Snelling Chapel,  and at numerous senior residences in the south metro.  We have participated in the Holidazzle Parade, Holidays Under Glass at the IDS Crystal Court, Christmas at the Mall of America, and have performed the National Anthem at a Minnesota Twins Game.  We perform a Spring and a Christmas concert each year. 

Our group was founded in November or 1999 with the support of the City of Eagan Parks and Recreation Department and the Eagan Men's Chorus.  We have grown from a group of 18 women to a group of almost 60.  See the 'Join Us!' section of this website for more information on becoming a member.

• Our 2009-2010 season is winding down.  Rehearsals for the 2010-2011 season will begin on Monday, September 13, 2010.  
• See the 'Members Only' Page for music lists and schedules.
• We cancel rehearsal if District 196 or Eagan Parks and Rec activities are cancelled due to weather.
• We DO rehearse on holidays such as Columbus Day, President's Day and Martin Luther King Day, though they are school holidays. 
• We DO NOT rehearse on Labor Day or Memorial Day, and take a break during the Christmas/New Years weeks.  See the calendar for specific dates.
