We, the Eagan Women of Note are a community women's choir based in Eagan, Minnesota.

Though we are based in Eagan, our group includes members that come from ALL around the Metro area, not just Eagan. We are a quality women’s chorus, dedictated to sharing our love of song with the community. We are a diverse group of women—married, single, moms, students, business people, retirees—who share a love of music. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of music from folk music, sacred, spirituals, show tunes, jazz, madrigal, to contemporary favorites.
We perform two major concerts each year, one in December to celebrate the Christmas Season and the other in the Spring. We've sung in many community venues including Holz Farm in Eagan, the Dakota Historical Village, the Eagan Community Center Bandshell, and the Eagan Arts Festival. We performed at teas and parties for church groups, services at the Fort Snelling Chapel, and numerous senior residences in the South Metro. We have participated in the Holidazzle Parade, Holidays Under Glass at the IDS Crystal Court, Christmas at the Mall of America, and have performed the National Anthem at a Twins Game.
Our group was founded in November of 1999 with the support of the City of Eagan Parks and Recreation Department and the Eagan Men's Chorus. We have grown from a group of 18 women to a group of almost 60. See the 'Join Us!' section of this website for more information on becoming a member.

Taylor has a Bachelor's of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern College in St. Paul. He has taught voice lessons and directed the Music Ministry with several churches. Most recently he was the Associate Conductor for the Metropolitian Chorale of Kansas City, and Co-director of the Young MAIstersingers.
Taylor's education and experience in vocal music and choral conducting will be an asset to our group - as well as his enthusiasm for music.
